Our perspective on social justice
PERIOD.
While the outrageous murder of George Floyd has triggered protests around the country this year, systemic racism and similar crimes have been witnessed throughout American history. This is not new. This is not acceptable. We all must do our part to bring about change. Each and every member of the Sip and Twirl team stands with Black Lives Matter against all forms of racism and injustice.. Independently and together, we strive to speak up, learn more and DO more to be antiracist.
We offer this statement not just as a perspective but as a start to what will hopefully be many other conversations and as an offer to participate, support and volunteer. We are project managers, event producers, designers and organizers. Please contact us if we can be of assistance to your cause.
